About:

Julia is a California native and graduated from San Francisco State University with her B.A. in Communication Studies. In college, she found a passion for volunteering with various non-profits. Julia has had the opportunity to volunteer at many different organizations that serve different causes. Some notable causes she has supported include childhood literacy skills, served at animal shelters, assisted with human rights organizations, and worked to help support endangered pollinators in California. 

In addition to her passion for helping other causes, Julia is very passionate about writing and spends a lot of her time doing it. Writing combines two of her favorite things in life, learning and sharing knowledge with others. She loves to write about a variety of topics, including animals, pop culture, lifestyle content, anything business related, and more! She loves learning and researching a new topic and sharing her findings with readers. 

Outside of her work and education, Julia is a pet parent to two adopted animals, Franklin, the black kitten and Ruby the 12 pound chihuahua mutt. Animals have always been a huge part of Julia’s life and she enjoys being the best pet parent she can be and is always looking for new ways to entertain them and take care of them. Besides caring for her two best friends, she loves to paint, read, cook, bake and travel.
