Animal & Pet Writer
San Francisco, CA
Nicole attended Carrington College in order to receive her veterinary technician education. Before pursuing formal training, however, she gained extensive knowledge in providing animal care by growing up on and working at her family’s pet boarding facility.
Nicole worked mainly with dogs and cats on her family’s facility and in her time as a technician. However, she’s also worked with and treated a plethora of other animals, like horses, birds, guinea pigs, bunnies, goats, and even the occasional hedgehog.
Later in life, after settling down and staying home to raise her kids (and dogs), Nicole began pursuing her passion for writing. She has taken a few writing courses through online programs, though her knack for the craft has come fairly natural to her, as she can often rely on her own expertise and knowledge gained through her experience.
Nicole currently resides in San Franciso, California with her husband, three kids, and two dogs. While motherhood takes up much of her day-to-day life, she still finds time to volunteer at local shelters and spend time playing with her two rescues. She loves spending time outdoors with her family when she’s not spending time writing a new article or curled up with a good book.
