All pet owners should understand that their pet’s activity, health and longevity depend on the quality of nutrition and compliance with its daily food intake. If you are used to feeding your dog dry or wet food, you need to know that even premium dry food includes ingredients such as artificial flavors and preservatives.
Dogs are predators, so the basis of their nutrition should be the natural diet of their wild ancestors. Such food is useful and healthy for animals. Raw feeding – only fresh meat, offal, and vegetables – is considered by many to be the most natural way to feed a dog, and, over the past few years, it has become the fastest-growing dog food trend in the United States.
For many owners, the optimal solution is the choice of natural products for feeding their dog. Determining this type of food, you need to immediately calculate the necessary daily portion for the animal, considering its age, dog’s size and breed. It is important to remember that the products served should contain all the essential vitamins, minerals and other useful trace elements in the correct ratio. If there are difficulties with the calculation of the diet, consult an experienced veterinarian. All the necessary products are sold at the Pet Plate company already cut, mixed, and packaged in airtight pre-portioned containers.
There are several reasons why it is better to feed your pet fresh meals. Some owners have pets with special dietary requirements (e.g., allergies) that prohibit them from eating commercial feed. Some people feed animals homemade food because they want to be sure of its quality and that it does not contain chemical preservatives, harmful additives, and other ingredients that are found in some commercial feed. Finally, the third group of animals fed with homemade diets are working dogs that need a very high percentage of protein and fat, which commercial feed cannot provide. In addition, Pet Plate meal delivery service is a huge time saver. Your dog will eat healthy food.

Pet Plate Analysis
Company history
Renaldo Webb studied physics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology before founding the startup Pet Plate. He decided to cook natural food for his dog and found that this was a promising niche. Now, dog owners pay him up to $100 a week for healthy dog food.
30-year-old Renaldo Webb was born in New Orleans, LA, USA. He was getting a degree in physics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. In 2016, he decided to fund Pet Plate, a successful startup headquartered in Hudson Yards in New York, making fresh dog food.
Webb says that his experience working as a consultant for dog food manufacturers, and learning what ingredients are used to make dry food, helped him create his startup. ;
“I decided that I wanted to cook my own food for my dog, Winston, so I started doing it,” says Webb. “Winston liked the food. My friends said they were ready to buy it from me. And it dawned on me.”
Webb realized that pet owners wanted options. He could launch a business that would “significantly affect the lives of pets across the country.” This is how Pet Plate appeared — a service for delivering freshly prepared food from completely natural ingredients to consumers. According to Webb, many varieties of animal feed that are sold in stores contain ingredients that people should not eat.
Most customers have completely switched to buying fresh meal plan from Pet Plate. Some dogs can be a particularly picky eater. In the United States, more and more dogs do not eat dry food. And, if some pets have allergies, they need a special diet. Pet Plate is also suitable for overweight dogs or dogs with sensitive stomachs.
Since its introduction in 2017, Pet Plate has delivered more than 3 million packages of food. Now, the company employs 10 employees and is valued at an estimated $30 billion. The company still has a lot of room to grow, especially considering that about half of dogs in the United States are overweight and die from cancer, diabetes and other serious diseases.
